The Denton County Beekeepers Association (DCBA), established in 2015, has continued to grow since its inception. Our goal being to serve Denton County, and surrounding areas, by providing an environment for networking with beekeepers of all levels.

Our mission is to teach, share, and inform our community about bees and beekeeping, and enhance our member's beekeeping experience.

We strive to offer education and assistance to all levels of interest. Including:

Supporting our pollinators is the responsibility of everyone in our community. There are a number of ways we can all make a difference in the life of a honeybee.

  • Become a hobby beekeeper
  • Volunteer at the DCBA

  • Plant pollinator friendly landscape
  • Keep pollinators in mind, use pesticides and herbicides responsibly
